Tournament Directors

Brief tournament background: The tournament was started and the first games were played in 1977. The following levels have been involved in play over the years: Boys Pee Wee, Bantam, Junior Gold (Midgets) and Girls 12U.

The committee that runs the tournament are all volunteers from throughout the community. The positions of Chairperson, 2nd Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer are voted positions by the other committee members. Historically, the committee, rarely has had any children participating in the tournament committee. The size of the committee normally consists of between 25 and 30 members.

All games are played in 4 or 5 arenas depending on the number of teams that will be in the tournament on a given year. The current arenas are Pioneer Hall, the DECC Arena, Fryberger Arena, Mars-Lakeview Arena, and Hermantown Arena.
